Request a boiler gasket quote with the opening type, dimensions, temperature, pressure, medium, surface condition and quantity specified.
A boiler gasket quote requires operating data and accurate opening dimensions, not only a photograph of the old seal. We supply several boiler, steam and high-temperature sealing products, but the correct option depends on the equipment and service conditions.
What Information Does A Boiler Gasket Quote Need?
Provide the boiler make and model, gasket location, opening shape, dimensions, temperature, pressure, medium and quantity. State whether the request concerns a handhole, manhole, access door, gauge glass, valve stem or another sealing point. Include photographs of the clean sealing faces where possible.
Review our boiler gasket and seal range to see Topog-E handhole and manhole gaskets, graphite valve-stem seals, gauge glass, rubber cones and other listed products.
- Operating conditions: Supply normal and maximum temperature and pressure, plus start-up and shutdown cycles.
- Opening details: Provide dimensions, profile, bolt arrangement and the equipment manufacturer’s reference where available.
- Maintenance context: Describe leakage, surface damage, old gasket residue and whether the equipment is currently isolated.
Why Can Material Selection Not Be Based On Temperature Alone?
Steam compatibility, pressure, joint design, compression, chemical exposure and flange or door condition all affect suitability. Products mentioned on the same website page are not automatically substitutes. Expanded PTFE tape, graphite products, fibre materials and moulded boiler gaskets have different intended applications.
Use our gasket material selection tool for preliminary context, then send the actual service conditions for review.
Do not copy a temperature or pressure figure from a different material family. The equipment documentation, gasket manufacturer data and responsible maintenance personnel should guide the final selection and installation method.
What Should Maintenance Teams Check Before Installation?
The boiler must be safely isolated and prepared by competent personnel under the site’s procedures. Inspect the sealing faces for corrosion, pitting, distortion and residue. Confirm the correct orientation and tightening method rather than assuming extra compression will fix an unsuitable gasket.
If a shutdown date is fixed, include it in the enquiry along with the date the gasket must be on site. Lead time depends on material, size, quantity and whether an existing product or custom-cut part is required. Early information is more useful than asking for emergency supply after the boiler is opened.

An old gasket sample can help, but relying on it alone may reproduce a previous selection error. Include the operating and dimensional information needed to assess the request.
Submit your boiler details through our gasket enquiry page. Our team will review the information against the products and manufacturing capabilities we actually offer, then identify any missing specification before quoting.
